Victorian Mahogany Duet Stool, £780

Maker James Shoolbred, with woolwork embroidered panel to the seat, which lifts to reveal sheet music compartment, lightly carved detail to the side panels and supported on tapering square legs, bearing the makers name Jas. Shoolbred. James Shoolbred was a London company manufacturing high quality furniture from the 1870's, and Royal Warrant holders from the mid 1880's.
